My favorite Greek restaurant in central florida. Excellent pita/hummus and kabobs. Best Gyros I've ever had. Their tzatzikistan sauce on the gyro is amazing and stays with you all day if you know what I mean. Seasoned french fries are also excellent. The waitresses provide great service.

What great service! The waitress, a young miss, was superb. She was very chipper if I must say. If not for her, the place would get only two stars. I had ordered a number of items from the menu to get an idea for the food quality and taste.. Mind you I'm eating alone here. Dolmathes, greek salad, mousaka, a chocolate covered baklava(there was a name to this that I dont recall), and greek coffee. The dolmathes were a bit bland, needs salt. But the herbs in there came through with gusto. There were 6 of them, and that was the small size! The mousaka was piping hot! But good none the less. The dessert, well it's dessert, how can you go wrong.? Best of all it was chocolate covered! I will say this though, the greek coffee was good. Mama did good. All of that for under $30, not bad at all.

Well, I am not a Greek food fan at all. In Saying that this place beats the 6 blocks of "Greek town" in Denver CO. That is for sure. I myself have been going here for about 5 years. I like the food a lot. The "kids" are wonderful behind the counter. I have met the owner and he is lovely. I tried the Moussaka- as nasty as it is in Denver- how ever they don't carry Vegetarian Moussaka- which is a win for me. What is in that 2 percent of unknown found in Hamburger meat anyways? I love that this place does not break from the traditional American Greek food. Its ambiance is, well is no more then hole in the wall, in a good way. Its like lil' Greek in olden days of Queens NY. Deli style. It is a shame though. The posh, or in crowd wanna be's" of lake Mary never have the hutzpah to go here, which it is 2 or 3 doors down- instead, they go to Too Jays. Good luck to them The other shame is the plaza itself. With Albertsons gone and Kmart- it is a shell of a plaza. The Christmas store left years ago. On a financial note: this is sad- because the rent is the same as when the anchor stores where there. 5-10 year leases and no $ breaks? No worries. Too Jays feels the "pinch too" I am sure. All in all this is as basic as it gets in a great way- and for a girl who doesn't really like this cuisine- 3 stars is a lot. This place only would get a 2 from me.. chefzorbas.com As always, please forgive my typos- and Happy yelping! Also please see their new web site upgrade, as it looks great! greekvillagelakemary.com

I found this place using the Yelp app while I was out and about the other day and I couldn't have been happier! I ordered the "Taste of Greece" because I wanted to sample everything. I chose the lamb, moussaka, spanikopita, greek mashed potatoes, and fasolakia (green beans). Everything was so delicious but my absolute favorite was the moussaka, which is an eggplant casserole. My only regret is that I didn't save room for dessert!

Some of the best greek food around! We love the gyros and hummus. Everything here tastes fresh and authentic, down to the little old greek man browsing on the internet, smoking a cigarette outside. A family run place, The Greek Village is a hidden gem that really should be visited at least once. Good quality food at a great price. Can't wait to go back!

Greek Village is a well oiled machine. They are super busy at lunch with loads of takeout orders from nearby businesses. That is always a good sign. I ordered two Greek salads with Grilled chicken and a gyro lunch special. We wanted good fresh vegetables that weren't soaked in dressing, and that's exactly what we got. The grilled chicken had a smoky flavor that was delicious. All in all it offers a healthy lunch opportunity, perfect for those watching their waistbands. The gyro was delicious as well. It was a good size, with tons of tzatziki sauce, fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion. Overall a delicious bite! We will be returning for sure. Next time, we'll try some of their other entree dishes.

"Authentic Greek food in the middle of Lake Mary, FL? What a gem; family owned and operated, this is some of the best Greek food I've had in a long time. Highly recommend it."

Went here a few months ago. Couldn't believe the ratings were so high. The server was new but she was fine. The wait for our food was long and the food was just not good. It wasn't bad, but I would never pay for it again.

  • Mark D.

Overall it was OK, great service, but it seemed like the dishes I ordered, leg of lamb and an eggplant spread was overpowered by lemon juice which was very strong. Decent portion of lamb, but for $17 for the leg of lamb dish, you would think it would come with more than just the entree, like a salad or soup or something. Nope, just the lamb in a pool of sauce and 4 slices of roasted potato wedges. I would have given it 2 stars if not for the great service.

Voted Best Greek Restaurant "(Best of Seminole 2007) My husband loves Greek food--he could eat gyros every day. So, it was exciting to find this unassuming authentic Greek restaurant right in the heart of Lake Mary. At least every other week or so, we end up eating at The Greek Village, devouring superb hummus and fresh, hot pita. This is a family-owned restaurant, and they care about their customers--lots of regulars here, especially Friday and Saturday nights. They also offer a great selection of unique Greek wines and specialty desserts like honey-drizzled baklava.

What a great find in Lake Mary. Great Greek food hidden in a shopping center. Food was excellent. Hummus fresh. Grilled chicken was good... I chose a small Greek salad and 'Greek' potatoes for sides. Potatoes had a delicious hint of citrus. Excellent service ...friendly and prompt. I highly recommend .

Mmmmm! I have eaten here twice and have been more than satisfied each time. I've had the chicken gyro each time, the second time as a platter. I will order it that way from now on. Delicious with the Greek salad. It came with two dressings, a greek vinagrette and the Tzatziki sauce. Both are delicious on the salad and the gyro. As for the price, I didnt pay the first time I ate here so I didn't know what to expect when I came along the second time. I was a bit taken aback at the almost $10 total for the meal ( no drink). By the time got home and opened the container, the price was more than fair. Between the delicious smells that made it so I couldn't get home fast enough and the amount of chicken I found inside when I finally did get home, this meal was fantastic. Well worth the wait and the price. I can't wait to go back with the hubby and kids and try dining in.

  • Tammy A.

The food here was lame...I had a gyro and it was small and dry, the salad was bland and not anything resembling a "Greek salad," just a small side salad of iceberg lettuce. I was not impressed. My husband got the Greek fries and they were dry too - dried herbs but no cheese! The prices were good, this place just disappointed me because I love Greek food and we don't have much to compare it to in Sanford/Seminole.

This is an update in this sense only: The Greek Village is under renovation till August, 2010. Call them and I'm sure they can provide a more accurate date.

I have been eating here for several years. It is the best. If you don't like gyros then get anything else you like because it will be just as good. But you must get the Saganaki. It is to die for.

Dude, this is the best Greek food and restaurant in Central Florida. The food is absolutely delicious. My favorite meal is the chicken kabobs, greek salad, dolmades, and chocolate coch with greek coffee afterwards. I've tried practically the entire menu. Lamb shank, excellent! The owners and staff are wonderful. The prices are fair. The atmosphere is friendly. The food is yum!

In search of some lunch after a presentation I had in the area, I found this place via Yelp (yay!) and wandered in to refuel. I had their Greek salad with some grilled shrimp and a side of Greek potatoes. Excellent stuff: nice and fresh, and the spicing on the shimp and potatoes was tasty. I'll definitely be back here, as now it's rescued me from subs and limp salad bars at Albertson's at the other end of the strip mall.

The absolute best restaurant in Central Florida! Outstanding food, moderate prices, and excellent customer service. Not only do we eat here several times a week, this is all our go to place for special occasions. This family owned restaurant exceeds all expectations!

One of my absolute favorite restaurants. I'm not the biggest connosieur of Greek food, but I love gyros and this place is close by me so I tried it for lunch. Had the gyro meal and hummus. Amazing. Definitely a better gyro than you would get in those mall food court restaurants. Besides that I've tried the chicken kabobs, also amazing. Service is great and the family is very nice and welcoming. Place itself is small but well decorated and clean. Love it!

excellent food. Everything on the menu is delicious and authentic. The owner and head chef, Ivi Duni does a masterful job with his filet entree. The sauce he creates makes his filet the best in Orlando!!! I love this restaurant!

I have been to the Village three times and each time I was a happy camper. It is hard to find but worth the trip. the restaurant is clean and spartan in design. I talked with the Chef and he is passionate about his Greek heritage and cuisine. My wife loves Gyros portions are very generous, the fries are sprinkled with an Herb seasoning which adds a nice touch. their Chicken, Rice and Lemon Soup is well rounded and not overpowering. My favorite is the Athenian Kabob marinated Lamb (more lemon and herbs) on skewer with peppers and onions accompanied by the fries of course. The lamb is tender and the flavors just mingle well. the service is friendly and honest try the Marathon Beer (yup even the Greek make a good beer) and keep going back. I will

I was spending a night in Lake Mary on my way home to NC and stumbled across this restaurant on Yelp. We all decided to give it a try. I knew when we walked in it was the real deal. Real gyro meat on the spit cooking. The saginaki & calamari were excellent, our meals were all great and the service was impeccable!! I would highly recommend eating here!

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Fresh authentic food that's made to order with a great family-run setting. I've tried several other Greek restaurants in the Orlando area and this one is by far the best. Great simple foods like gyros and greek salads as well as amazing dinners such as lamb chops, chicken and skordati. For an appetizer I would recommend the fresh hummus and make sure you save room for desert (all homemade). Service is fantastic and accommodating. You can tell that it is family owned and they go out of the way to make you feel welcome and to make sure that the food is exactly what you wanted.

I Absolutely love this place. Family owned and a wonderful family. They do care about the quality of food and have often approached me for feedback. Mom makes homemade soups daily. The Gyro platter is my favorite but do try the lamb and roasted chicken dishes. I've been going since they' opened and they continously improve. Everyone I've taken there returns. Reasonable prices and service.

The pita and hummus appetizer is great - love that the pitas are so fresh and hot. We enjoyed the chicken, rice and lemon soup very much. My entree was the moussaka which was very tasty. My husband liked the pork kabobs and my sister said the gyro was very good. We shared a huge piece of the chocolate baklava cheesecake - yummy! Our server was very friendly and helped us make choices. All of the staff seemed very welcoming and we felt like valued customers.

If only they were open on Sunday! This place is fantastic. Love the greek salad (the best feta)! Also a highlight is the gyro and their french fries! This is the cutest little place and the service is always friendly. The food is the best part about it though. Very authentic. Definitely a place to check out in Lake Mary for lunch or dinner!

I really enjoy this place. The food is very good, reasonably priced, and the owner family - local bunch that works together at the restaurant - is very friendly, servers, cooks, and all. I usually get take out but eating in is just as good. Whatever spice they put on their fries is ridiculously good, and the gyros have only gotten better since I first came a few years back. Very good, makes for an excellent, filling lunch.

I was a little surprised this place is in a strip mall after reading the reviews on here. The atmosphere is nice, lighting and noise level is good, they have an outdoor eating option, the waitress was friendly. I followed what yelp user theo h. suggested, with Athenian Kabob marinated Lamb, french fries (with herb seasoning), and chicken/rice/lemon soup. The soup was probably the best soup I've ever had. The chicken is cut very small and is very tender unlike canned soup. The lemon flavoring is perfect strength. Fries were good though got a little soggy by the end (the kabob was served on top of the fries). Didn't stop me from eating all of them (the kabob seasoning with the fries was good... just wish they weren't soggy). Athenian kabob marinated lamb - this was really excellent (it is also one of the most expensive items on the menu). It had green peppers and onions with it, though I wish there would have been more of both (I was down to meat only bites by the end). Drank water and total bill was $19 before tip.

I really like the food here, and often stop by at lunch, or on the way home from work to grab a gyro. Nice and friendly staff, even though they think I'm crazy for not getting tsatsiki on my gyro. Parking is tough to come by at lunch time, so plan accordingly. Edit 7/12/09: I've ordered the lamb souvlaki twice since I posted the original review...I highly recommend it!!

I just finished dinner -- leftovers from lunch at The Greek Village two days ago -- and wanted to bang out a quick round of applause while the savory flavors of stuffed grape leaves, hummus on pita bread and spinach-and-cheese stuffed flaky pastry still float happily across my taste buds. This is a restaurant with authentic, lovingly prepared and served food. The staff is patient, proud, helpful and happy. The location is bereft of all character and charm; the decor with plastic grape vines and table cloths under glass begs to be ignored. Just bring on the food so we can share entrees and argue about which is the best dipping portion on the combination appetizer plate -- and hey! another basket of hot pita! And we'll have three desserts to share. The best is an unpronounceable word of seven syllables. Think it started with "g". Get one.

I really enjoy this place. I usually eat here on lunch, and it's always friendly and prompt service. The half chicken with greek potatoes or green beans is my favorite meal. We've taken the soulvaki to go before, but I think eating in is the better choice.

  • C R.

Good greek salad. I was surprised at the prices. They were a bit high. I got a small greek with chicken and a diet coke. My total was $11. It did turn out to be a larger salad than I expected. I'd like to go back and try the gyro. I think the dinner options are a bit too pricey for me.

We are just visiting in Florida and were so lucky to get off the freeway and find Greek Village for dinner. There was a table set up for six, and it is so nice that our large family was welcomed. Our server was so helpful with ordering and getting kids get what they wanted. I tried bites of almost everyone's dinner, and everything was wonderful! Lemon on the shrimp, garlic in mashed potatoes, peppers and onion cooked beautifully; I wish I had two stomachs to fill. I had the big Greek salad and couldn't finish it after eating off other plates. Oops. If we were local, we'd be here weekly.

Service was nice, food is not that great. Beef and Lamb gyro was dry and the bread was open which lets the meat cool.

Nice restaurant. Steak was very tasty. Chicken kabob had nice char. Feta on salad was delicious. All entrees were lightly seasoned. Staff was extreme friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Relaxing atmosphere and not rushed even though we came in near closing.

I understand why people really like this restaurant.. The food is really good. The service was outstanding! Our waitress was not only very pleasant and friendly but she went out of her way to describe the different dishes and the daily special. Also the waitresses know most of the customers by name which is pretty cool. I am usually a gyro type of girl but today I tried the daily special which was a Gyro bowl (newest item to their menu) which is rice topped with grilled pepper, onions and your choice of meat. Added to that is their yummy tzatiki sauce. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The rice and chicken were very well seasoned and tasted . Everything on my plate was yummy. And the portion are huge. Also ordered a Baklava to go. It was good but too sweet in my opinion. Great food and amazing service

Greek Village is a very popular restaurant (especially at lunch) and with good reason - the food here is authentic and the prices are reasonable. The gyros are your best bet - nicely seasoned and not dry. The portion size is huge and you have options for sides (salad, fries, soup.) I am also a fan of the melitzano-salita - this is pretty much a chunkier baba ganoosh - loved the garlic flavor. My only disappointment was the avgolemono soup - I prefer a lemon based preparation and theirs was more like a chicken soup with a hint of lemon. Service is friendly and efficient, even when it is busy. GV is a solid choice for either lunch or dinner if you are in the area.

Delicious food and exceptional service. The chicken kabobs were so good as well as the gyro. My husband is a gyro fanatic and he LOVED these. We were in town for the evening with family and would highly recommend this place for those passing through.

Nice lunch specials, staff is nice, the place is very busy at lunch. Very.Busy. Service was OK, the regular Greek salad was pretty standard, hummus fine, nice to have a veggie friendly soup. (No chicken or meat stock). On my last visit I tried something different, The Spinach Flatbread. It looked great, but was crazy overpowering in the onion department...I only made it through a bite or two. The server asked if I wanted something else (nice!) but I declined as knew my onion loving hubby would enjoy for a snack. It was even too much for him in the onion department, a first. My co workers like the Gyro's and the Gyro salad. If you are looking for Greek in the area, it's fine. Just remember- can be very chaotic/busy at lunchtime.

I stopped by Greek Village for a quick lunch. Cute place and it was packed at lunch time! The wait staff was lovely and helped me find a place in no time. After a quick scan of the menu, I went with the chicken gyro with greek salad. The pita was tasty and the salad was...well, a greek salad. Both were good, but I was still a little hungry. Best tummy rumble ever because I went with the Galaktobureko. I am glad they had pictures and descriptions, because while I love this dessert I can't pronounce the name. It is a rich custard layered between two crusts of phyllo dough. It is not too rich and not too sweet and topped with an orange syrup. The portion at Greek Village was HUGE but I am a little embarrassed to say I ate every bite. It was perfection!!

That's what am talking about! Best Filet Mignon anywhere! And the Greek Potatoes and Rice Pilaf are the best in town. Sauté onions and peppers with Greek seasoning to top everything off after having awesome Humus and Pita bread for appetizer. Can't wait to have the home made Tiramisu for dessert. Thanks Ivi and Jessica!

I had such high hopes for this place, but alas a disappointment. I don't know if it's me or the yelpers in Lake Mary are super nice reviewers and traditionally so am I, but just wanted to give my 2 cents of my experience here. Came with some family for a birthday because birthday girl wanted lamb and according to the reviews, this would be a good place to try out. Welp, the group ordered many of the dishes: mousakka, lamb gryo, lamb chops, chicken souvlaki, lamb souvlaki, lemon soup, and the fried cheese app. The fried cheese was the best out of all of them, but then again, how do you mess that up? The rest of the food was just plain... not memorable. The lamb was over-done and came cold at the table along with the other meats that were ordered. I know we were a big group of maybe 10 around dinner time, but still... They must have been short that night, with two waitresses because they looked very scattered and disorganized, but at least they were still pleasant and friendly throughout the night. So maybe we just came at an off night (Tuesday), but we'll see. If i'm ever in Lake Mary area again and i want some quick lunch greek food... I may come back. I don't know if I'll ever try dinner again.

Amazing food and service. Greek salad used fresh chopped lettuce and the dressing offered was light but quite flavorful. Grape leaves were tender and very flavorful without overdoing the lemon. Probably the best grape leaves I've ever had. The gyro was quite good as well. It's large, stuffed to capacity, and the lamb/beef in it is quite good. Delicious tzatziki!

Greek Village is rated as the top 3 Greek Restaurants in central Florida(by Seminole Magazine Survey Results), unfortunately I didn't have much time to explore the dinner menu. I ordered a Moussaka and Chicken Gyro, both served with seasoned fries. I love this type of food, especially the fact that the fries and the gyro were not overly salty like a lot of other greek restaurants. However, it did take a while for us to get the food, which was surprising since it was off peak time. There seemed to be only a hand full people seated at the time. I have plans to try them again for dinner soon.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. It is truly one of my favorite restaurants in the Greater Orlando area. Greek food is one of my favorite cuisines and I am very particular about how it is coked. The owner and cooks here are amaziiiiiiing. Everything tastes homemade and is full of flavor. I've ordered their gyros for lunch and had the larger meals for dinner and everything is finger licking good. What's better is that the service is always top notch. Whether I am getting food to go or sitting down, the staff is always so friendly. One night my husband and I visited a good 30 minutes before closing time and they ran out of 2 of the side orders that we wanted. Which is understandable. In addition to bringing other sides, they brought out an amazing zucchini pie dish that the owner just "whipped" up and it tasted incredible. We really appreciated the kind and thoughtful gesture. They give you a toooon of food for reasonable prices. I used to go to a fancy Greek restaurant in the Dr. Philips area and while they were good, I enjoy The Green Village so much more. It sounds cheesy, but their food tastes like home. Keep up the great work!

Cute family style restaurant in a strip mall in Lake Mary. Very easy to miss since its located off to the side and can not been seen from the road. Clearly a family restaurant with its small amount of tables and the fact that half of the people who walked in were greater by name. Love that! Our server was busy (had like almost every table) but very friendly and great at explaining some of their specialties. We ordered the saganaki to start and I had the Chicken Kabob dinner. I loved the fact that they (its cheeky but endearing) do a chant when the flaming saganaki comes out. The dinner portion was huge for the Chicken Kabob. Their green bean side was amazing. Overall very solid place for dinner. Love the fact its a local place, prices are fairly reasonable and the staff were very friendly.

Here on business and a friend recommended! They are packed at lunch so get there early! Gyro was delicious. Seasoned fries were good. Iced tea was flavorless. Waitress was so super nice. Food came out quick :) apparently they have a Greek beer but I was working - maybe I'll stop after work! Big bonus that they take American Express so I could charge it with my company card!

This little place is tucked away on Lake Emma Road, just south of Lake Mary Blvd, so it can be easy to miss. Servers are as pleasant as can be, always smiling, attentive, and make you feel happy that you chose their place for dining or takeout. I often settle for a simple Greek salad, though their large size seems too much for one person to consume. Warm pita bread is a nice extra touch that you will enjoy. I've also had several entrees, and every item I tried was excellent. There are several umbrellas with tables in front, in case you like Orlando's ridiculous summer heat. Quite a few couples are here, so this is probably a good date night choice. Highly recommended!

Amazing! I had the mossaka and my husband and friend had the lamb gyro platter. We also had the saganaki (?) as an appetizer. ALL of it was incredible! The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. I will definitely go back again. .. caution tho. It got full fast...we got there before 6 and by the time we left there was a line waiting for a table. Highly recommend!

EXCELLENT GREEK FOOD. Always quick and service with a smile. The girls that work here are knowledgable and well versed. Absolutely stunning! They have great memories. Remember what you had on prior visits and make you feel special. It's how your dining experience should be. This place never fails. Always a positive experience. KEEP IT UP! I love the stuffed chicken. Amazing flavor and very moist chicken. The Chicken Gyro is PERFECTION. Their Greek potatoes are delish. The green beans. The French fries seasoned wonderfully. The lamb souvlaki is divine. With mashed potatoes. Recently tried the Calamari. WOW! should have ordered that sooner. Hummus is a classic appie and DELISH! Do yourself a favor- go to GREEK VILLAGE!

I've been here a few times for lunch. The gyros that I've had have been quite good and the baklava was above average. Pretty nice place.

Since relocating to the area six months ago, my husband and I have enjoyed approximately half a dozen visits to Greek Village. The service is excellent. We usually get the same person and she is an absolute delight! She is friendly, helpful with recommendations, and strikes the perfect balance of attentiveness (not intrusive and not so absent that you must send out a search party for the check). Our favorite meals are the gyro pita and the gyro platter. The Greek fries and Greek side salad are both excellent compliments. If you don't mind spending a bit more for your meal, go for the lamb chops. They were tender, flavorful, and juicy - cooked to a perfect medium well done. The green bean side dish is fantastic with these. And, if you still have room for dessert, the baklava is wonderful! Good atmosphere too: casual, un-fussy, comfortable. Love this place!

Consistently good, fresh food. Friendly, excellent service. Love the servers! Liz always remembers us and my order! I usually get a Greek salad with gyro meat with a pita and taziki (sp?) sauce. Always yummy. My husband said that the lamb chops are excellent as well. Everything we have tried is really, really good. We are glad to have found the place and will miss it since we are moving out of state...

I came here for lunch and got a gyro salad. The salad was pretty good. If you love feta cheese, the gyro salad is for you. They put giant amounts of cheese on that thing, more than I care for. I may have eaten half of the cheese they put on it. I would have preferred about 50% less cheese and 50% more gyro meat. The dressing was normal style dressing and everything tasted fine. More meat for the prices they charge would be pretty normal, but I can go to Mediterranean Deli in college park and get way more meat for less money.

One of my favorite places in Lake Mary. Good food, great prices and portions, family friendly service.

My wife and I have eaten here a few times, the food is pretty good, the portions are decent as well. I do wish the prices were just a tad lower. I will eat here again for sure.

Wait staff is just amazing! They are so friendly and provide the best service! The portions are large and can be shared. My husband and I usually do a Villager's salad, pita and hummus, and split the Spanakopita. I would give it 5 stars, except the house cab is not the best. I don't know what brand of wine they use, but the taste is pretty poor. Other than that, every thing else is great!

We're putting this in our regular rotation! Good quality food for very reasonable prices (range from $8.25 gyro to $22 rack of lamb; apps $5-$10; desserts $1.25-$6). I had a grilled chicken pita and Greek fries-- all delicious, especially the lemony tzatziki (though I might ask for it on the side next time as it was a lot of sauce). My roommate and I split the hummus and pita as an app and it was flavorful without too much sesame. She said her lamb kebabs and Greek potatoes were good. The baklava is great-- not too sweet. We also had the chocolate mousse dessert, which was fabulous. It's not a big place and filled up while we were there at an early dinner time, so I don't think it would be my first choice for a large group. The wine list looked pretty pitiful; we didn't bother ordering any. Otherwise a fantastic place and we'll definitely be back!

The best Greek food around. Love the octopus appetizer but ask if they can grill a little first, gives it a little smoky flavor. Sometimes they have weekend specials that is cooked by "Momma". Although nothing beats Momma's cooking, everything is still very tasty. They go out of their way to give good service and make you happy. Have taken and recommended many friends and that all love it. You never leave hungry, sometimes I feel like they need to roil me out :)

This is a mixed review. I've had the best Gyro and fries ever anywhere there, but when I tried other items, it was really hit and miss. The fried Calamari is tough and under fried and very bland. The Hummus is dry and flaky. The salads are wonderful and the wait staff are the best you will find anywhere. I'm still going back, but sticking with the Gyros from now on.

This is the best Greek Food in town, a family run business where the owners put their heart and soul into their restaurant. I love the food here and the service is always excellent and super friendly. My favorite dish is the Pastitsio with a side of Gyro meat and tzatziki sauce. I could eat here every day, great job guys!

A local favorite, recommended by multiple people working in the area. A lot of gyros and meats. As expected, except you can get Greek fries with most orders(read potatoe sticks). Decent foods with a slightly odd tasting pita bread, but the cucumber sauce covers it up well. The skewers of lamb is mildly gamey but tender. Decent spot for a quick work lunch and mostly healthy if you watch the portions.

On a work trip for my company, I made the decision to enjoy this restaurant. After trying the Tour Of Greece, I was pleasantly delighted by the rich flavors. The staff is amiable and generously helped with understanding the different foods and the variety of entrees. Having tried Greek previously, I had standard expectations. Staff is friendly, restaurant is clean. Highly recommended.

Great, authentic Greek! We're suckers for the stereotypical American order of gyros and Greek fries. Tasty baklava.

Love Love Love this place! Thanks to other Yelpers, I found this gem in Lake Mary. I just moved here from So Cal and have been trying many different places to eat and almost gave up on good food in North Orlando until I came to the Greek Village. Their food is authentic and super flavorful. The hummus, Greek salad and desserts are excellent! I've been going every week now, the waitresses are super nice and even remember you when you walk in, by far my favorite place in Lake Mary!

Excellent salad as it was very fresh with a great dressing. The gyro meat was carved and warmed just right. The star of the show was the hummus. It was prepared with a perfect combination of flavor and texture. The ambiance is very much a clean "mom and pop" type place with tables and chairs. The patrons all seemed to be regulars considering one of the cooks and servers made the rounds talking with folks. The server even pulled up a chair to a few tables and camped out. This seems to be a pretty good spot. I only wish I lived closer.

Soooo not impressed! Walking in to the smell of greasy food and bleach is just gross. I knew from that point the experience would be bad. The only thing that was somewhat descent was the dessert. The grapeleaves were dry and flavorless. The lettuce in my salad was wilted and my gyro was dripping with grease. How do you screw up a salad?? My son had the leg of lamb and it was overcooked and dry. Not a good experience at all!!! I'm not a complainer but the server didn't even bother to question why we hardly ate anything. I'm going to agree with Ches P. and say that the people in Lake Mary are way too nice in reviewing this place. You'd be better off elsewhere.

Quaint little place. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious. I will be returning. Parking was a nightmare when I went- Friday at lunch time. But that isn't surprising for the area.

So wonderful and fresh! I can't wait until we eat there again. The gyros are wonderful and the portions are generous. Half way through the full to the rim gyro my grizzly bear of a husband decided that it might be time to hibernate. The food was so good that we had to order dessert to go and I can't wait to get home and try it. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and we can't wait to make this a part of our staple restaurants.

Delicious! I came here yesterday (we come here often) and the food was great! I always get the Stuffed Chicken which is always warm and has a variation of herbs. We decided to try the Panakopita and it was great! It was super flaky and fresh! I love it here and the decoration is great and amazing service.

Not bad. I've had better Greek food around the country. But for Central Florida it's probably the front runner. (Tampa Bay Area folks always have lots of choices in Tarpon Springs). A bit high priced for lunch in my opinion.

I have eaten at most of the Greek restaurants in the Orlando area, but now I only eat here. I have tried practically the entire menu and haven't tasted anything that wasn't delicious. The only complaint about the food is that you get lots of it. My favorite is the Athenian lamb kabob, grilled octopus, and calamari. They treat you like family and always make sure you're happy with your meal. The service is excellent. They are a small family restaurant and sometimes get overshadowed by Toojays next door. Take my recommendation and skip TooJays, you won't be sorry. They sometimes run specials on Fridays, be sure to ask, especially if they have Lamb shanks:) SPICY CHEESE !!!!

My Greek sampler contained spanakopita, dolmades, cucumber yogurt sauce, salad and lamb. The spanakopita was the best I've ever had..crisp crust with creamy spinach filling. The slice was a generous size. The two dolmades were flavorful particularly with the cucumber sauce. My only suggestion would be that the lamb medium not well done.. I forgot to ask. Service from the two young ladies was perfect. They were at your side when needed but not overbearing. I have salad and lamb for lunch tomorrow.

Absolutely love this place for gyros and french fries. Their pitas and hummus is the best. Only place I know of that serves you fresh hot pitas! Very satisfying!

Cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! Always a wonderful meal with incredible service! Everything seems homemade; you can see people making and cooking the food and it's very authentic. People who own and work there seem to know everyone by name which is always a good sign. Personal fav are the gyro's.....incredible!

What a surprise! I was in Lake Mary on business and was tired of the same expense account restaurants, I wanted good food I n a relaxing environment. Who would guess I would find the best food of my trip in a corner of a shopping mall! I've eaten Greek food in a lot of places and I would put this up against anything in Athens or Chicago!s Greektown. Dolmades were as good as my mom's and the tzatziki was so good I wolfed it down despite not thinking I was particularly hungry. My only regret is I won't have time to go back for lunch tomorrow before my flight. But next time I am in town, this is going to be my hang out. And you can get free wifi so I could use my iPad while I enjoyed my meal. Theo, you run a terrific place and I'll be back! The Redhead....

Great little lunch spot. Waitresses always remember you and are very accommodating, going out of their way to make your meal great. It's really a great value for what you get. I usually get the gyro lunch with Greek salad and I always leave full. The cucumber sauce is just right and i love that you can see them shave the gyro meat from the spindle from your table.Very dependable service and great food sums this place up.

It's hard to find a good gyro with the creamy cucumber sauce. This place nailed it! Greek fries are the jam!
